Account Manager / Senior Account Manager
Clear Channel Singapore seeks a demonstrated sales pro but we are also open to a naturally curious, media-savvy, multi-disciplined relationship builder. Client & Account Management
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agency partners and media partners - play the role of "trusted advisor".
- Manage and deliver the day-to-day needs of the accounts.
- Develop and deliver necessary reports like media flowchart updates, budget updates, contact reports, competitive, post-campaign reports, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage negotiation, evaluation and recommendation of media proposals.
- Keep clients abreast of media updates and opportunities.
- Manage client budgets/ spends, ensure proper maintenance of master trading agreements and ensure proper and timely utilisation of agreement entitlements.
- Develop relationship and ensure sharing of best practices and learnings across departments.
Planning & Implementation Management
- Work with other Account Managers / GADs on strategy development and idea generation for campaigns, with application of CCS' research and planning process and tools.
- Develop and present media plans / documents incorporating goals, rationale, planning costs, scheduling, budget splits, recommendations, ideas and implementation.
- Follow up on recommendations and obtain client approval on plans including signed media schedules.
- Supervise and work with Campaign Planning (Traffic) and Marketing to ensure that campaign is implemented - that the implementation goals are met and that the media buy is most effective.
- Ensure that learnings from campaigns are applied to the business.
Knowledge & Skills Development
- Develop understanding of all clients' businesses - brand and products, category and competition, issues and challenges.
- Keep abreast on all media updates and market knowledge and apply them to client's businesses.
- Actively use and apply all industry software.
- Actively use and apply CCS tools and systems across all areas of Sales management.
- Active self-improvement and upgrade in the areas of presentation, negotiations, account / partnership management, account / client knowledge and media skills.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' relevant working experience (5 years for the Senior Account Manager role); preferably, you should come from one of these fields: Sales, Marketing, Media, Advertising.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Good team player with strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in Mac OS and MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written and spoken English and a second language.
