The restructure sees Kelly Khoo, previously Clear Channel Singapore’s Marketing Director take on the combined role of Sales and Marketing Director, and the reorganising of the Sales and Marketing teams into a single aligned department, under her command.
The restructure also adds to its current Agency and Direct Sales groups, with a third group to reinforce its agency presence, particularly at a more senior level.
Adam Butterworth, CEO, Clear Channel Singapore, commented, “Kelly’s promotion is well-deserved, she has been doing this role “de facto” since the departure of Telly (Tan) and Henry (Goh) late last year, and the results - both in terms of revenue and the team’s KPI performances speak for themselves.”
Mark Thewlis, Regional President, Asia Pacific, Clear Channel International, commented on Singapore’s performance in the last 6 months, “I am extremely proud of the way our team has performed in the first half of 2010. Our year-on-year growth rate has been particularly impressive in a recovering market. Our strong performance is the result of hard work and an attention to detail - to ensure we offer the best value out-of-home media to our clients. The new, larger team will allow us to further deliver for our clients”.
“This restructure will be the vanguard for change at Clear Channel Singapore”, added Butterworth. “Clear Channel is committed to driving advertiser value through creativity and effectiveness. Aligning the sales and marketing functions and getting the right people in the right roles will enable us to deliver on all of this.
