To attract the eyeballs of motorists, the sites are located on 178 major arterial roads and near the entrance and exit points of expressways like the AYE, BKE, CTE, ECP, KJE, KPE, PIE, SLE, TPE and flyovers in areas like Buona Vista, Holland, Laguna, Tanjong Rhu and Wayang Satu. The Commuter network is also located around a necessary amenity for motorists - at petrol stations like Caltex, Esso-Mobil, Shell, Singapore Petroleum Company.
To capture the views of pedestrians, 57 sites are located around MRT stations along the North-South Line, East-West Line, North-East Line and LRT stations along the Bukit Panjang, Punggol and Sengkang routes, in addition to 29 sites located around bus interchanges and terminals.
The Commuter network aims to reach time-poor and mobile commuters with sites in strategic “work-bound, home-bound” locations. Sites on work-bound routes capitalise on morning routines, with coverage of major arterial roads en-route to CBD and downtown destinations and parallel key bus routes which lead to locations in our Business networks. This includes popular pan-island, “through-CBD” services like 10, 57, 70, 75, 97, 100 as these cover areas like Cecil Street, Collyer Quay, Connaught Drive, Cross Street, Esplanade Drive, Fullerton Road, Marina Boulevard, Nicoll Highway, Raffles Avenue / Boulevard / Quay, Robinson Road, Shenton Way and Temasek Avenue / Boulevard.
Sites on home-bound routes deliver the same effect on the return journey. It is also a suitable network for the advertising of “after-work” products like beers and fast food delivery services. Repeat views of a pizza ad tap into commuter mindsets on their journeys home; this is an effective platform to influence purchase decisions.
It provides the 60% of visibility for motorists and 40% for pedestrians, with 120 traffic-facing sites and 80 foot traffic-facing sites in each network.
