IKANO Pte. Ltd, a franchisee of IKEA, placed an Out-Of-Home campaign through Clear Channel Singapore to showcase the latest 2012 Catalogue for IKEA.
Using Clear Channel’s create&collaborate portfolio, a partnership of innovative minds between Clear Channel, IKANO, LOWE and OMD Singapore got together to place the first flipbook on bus shelter mediums in Singapore. The flipbook uses the power of touch to promote the new IKEA 2012 Catalogue as a canvas of inspiration and ideas for small space living while bringing the Catalogue to life on the streets of Singapore. Using Clear Channel’s premium product, the 12-sheets, carry the creative of a living room with a touch-screen television fitted into where the television in the living room should be. The audience is able to flip through the e-Catalogue with just a swipe of their finger from left to right, or right to left.
An excellent and environmental friendly way to showcase the lKEA 2012 Catalogue, the innovative option reaches and engages commuters during their dwelling times. As an addition to their create campaign, IKANO placed static posters across 250 locations island wide with a Clear Channel network targeted to reach out to Singaporeans everywhere, every day. While the flipbook drives active engagement, the static poster campaign aims to build reach and frequency for the IKEA 2012 campaign.
Studies have shown that the masses spend an average of 40% of their day out of their homes, with 21% of their time spent travelling. This allows 100% of them to pass by a Clear Channel shelter every day! The use of Singapore’s first flipbook e-Catalogue concept on bus shelter mediums, together with the static poster campaign effectively pushes the IKEA’s inspirational Catalogue for 2012 everywhere.
IKANO operates and owns both Swedish lifestyle giant IKEA stores in Singapore located at Tampines and Alexandra respectively. This brilliant campaign for the IKEA 2012 Catalogue runs on Print, TV and Digital and will be up from August – October 2011
